After careful consideration, the HMTA Board has decided to postpone the Hawaii State Music Competition until the Spring 2021 in order to prioritize the health and safety of our students, teachers and members due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Although the decision to postpone has been difficult, it will allow us to explore ways to strengthen the HSMC competition for Strings, Piano and Winds. We will share updates in the coming months in email blasts and on the website.

The MTNA Competition is still pending, and we will update everyone as soon as more information comes available.
