HMTA provides opportunities throughout the year for students to develop their musical skills and artistry. Some events require an HMTA member teacher, while others are open to all music students. Please consult the individual event for guidelines.
Recitals
HMTA’s Student Recital Series is an opportunity for students to work on their live performance skills.
Workshops & Masterclasses
HMTA presents educational workshops and masterclasses throughout the year, and on a variety of topics, including performance, wellness and more.
Competitions
HMTA presents performance competitions for young musicians of varying levels, aged 5 and up. Some competitions may be used to qualify students to enter in the MTNA national competitions.
