Seoyun Sodetani is a distinguished violinist and educator whose musical foundation was forged at the prestigious École Normale de Musique de Paris. With a focus on both high-level solo performance and sophisticated chamber music, she brings a refined European tradition to her teaching and artistry.
Educational Excellence
She earned the Diplôme Supérieur de Concertiste in Violin from the École Normale de Musique de Paris. In the United States music education system, this degree is recognized as equivalent to an Artist Diploma (AD) or a Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA), representing the highest level of professional performance mastery.
Furthering her versatility as a collaborative musician, she also holds a Diplôme Supérieur in Chamber Music. This dual expertise allows her to approach music education with a holistic perspective, balancing rigorous technical training with the nuanced communication required for ensemble performance.
