Biography

Rosy Wang studied piano in Shanghai Conservatory of Music, BYU Hawaii, and the University of Hawaii at Manoa. She holds a Master of Music degree in piano performance. She taught piano in BYU Hawaii as a special instructor, and she was a Lecturer of Music teaching applied piano and class piano at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Rosy Wang has been teaching piano privately for more than 35 years. She is a teacher at Masaki School of Music. Over the years she has many students winning HMTA Junior Artist competitions, MTNA competitions, Morning Music Club competition, Steinway competition, Aloha Piano Festival competition, etc. She has a high standard for her students. In her lessons, she teaches high quality of piano technique, theory, interpretation, and musical expression. She loves music, she loves children, and she loves teaching. Rosy Wang currently offers lessons in person and online, and appreciates the learning opportunity the pandemic has given her, to teach online successfully.
