Tugce Bryant began learning the cello when she was 11 as a full-time music student at Bilkent University's middle school in Ankara, Turkey, where she was accepted with a full scholarship. Eleven years later, with countless recitals and concerts under her belt, she graduated from Bilkent University's Faculty of Music and Fine Arts School with a Bachelor's in Music Performance.
She completed her Master studies under the tutelage of Steven Taylor at Valdosta State University and received her Master of Music Degree in Cello Performance in 2012 with a 4.0 GPA.
In 2016, Tugce Bryant moved to Hawaii with her husband and dog. She is the after school orchestra teacher in Red Hill Elementary, teaches at her own private studio "Cello Academy Hawaii" in Ewa Beach and Red Hill, and plays with the Hawaii Symphony Orchestra.
This directory is service provided to teaching members of the Hawaii Music Teachers Association and to the Hawaii community. While HMTA will do its best to connect Hawaii cello students with local cello teachers, the responsibility for fulfillment and content of cello lessons, as well as safety, rests solely with the individual teachers. If you are a cello teacher in Hawaii and would like to be listed in this directory, please consider becoming a member.
