Benefits of HMTA membership

In addition to MTNA events and benefits, HMTA regularly sponsors interesting and stimulating activities such as workshops and recitals by renowned artists and master teachers. In November, HMTA hosts its annual convention that usually schedules student competitions, recitals, workshops, convention dinner, annual business meeting, and master classes. Many of the events provide opportunities for members to interact and socialize with music professionals. This networking has resulted in new teaching ideas, inspiration, and camaraderie.

In addition, each member receives the annual HMTA Directory and quarterly newsletters. To further communicating and networking, the HMTA website (www.hmta.org) and e-mail (info@hmta.org) were established in 2006.
